The Queens Arms, East Garston, set in the picturesque Lambourn Valley (an area of outstanding natural beauty) is about 4 miles from junction 14 of the M4 and a mere 12 miles from Newbury.
Located in the valley of the racehorse, known for its horse racing and field sports, The Queens Arms is perfectly placed to enjoy country sports including the many famous local shoots and chalk stream fly fishing in the clear waters of the rivers Kennet and Lambourn.
The Queens Arms offers the character of a glorious bygone era. The bar area has character and traditional pub appeal with an open brick fire place, wood flooring, and local real ale. The restaurant has seating for 40 people serving a classic English menu that changes with the seasons, using local produce from the nearby allotments and Game from the farm.
Outside, visitors can enjoy a large garden and patio area as well as a covered, heated terrace. Dogs are welcome inside but only in the bar area of the pub.
The Queens Lodge, adjacent to the pub, is a wonderful self-contained venue for private functions with a grand log fire, own bar, kitchen facilities and south facing garden.
